Position Overview:

Aeropay is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join our growing Revenue team. This role is designed for a full-cycle seller who can own and convert a steady flow of inbound leads while also identifying and closing opportunities within our mid-market and growth-stage segments. You’ll play a critical role in capturing warm demand, shortening deal cycles and enabling our senior team to stay focused on strategic enterprise accounts.

This position will be based in our Chicago headquarters and report directly to Aeropay’s Head of Revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial qualification to close, with a focus on inbound leads from our website, marketing campaigns, referrals and events
  • Prioritize speed-to-lead and maintain a rapid, high-quality response cadence across all inbound channels
  • Run effective discovery, tailored demos, pricing discussions and negotiations to close small to mid-market deals
  • Build and manage a book of high-potential prospects — including both inbound and self-sourced opportunities — within emerging verticals
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Revenue Operations and Product to drive conversion and feedback loops
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activity and client needs to refine outreach and proposals
  • Communicate Aeropay’s value proposition clearly and effectively to decision-makers, aligning solutions with client goals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts and activity tracking to support operational rigor and team visibility
  • Contribute to GTM strategy improvements by sharing insights from the field on prospect behavior, objections and product feedback

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of full-cycle sales experience, preferably in SaaS, FinTech or payments
  • Proven track record of success in a high-velocity sales environment with significant inbound lead volume
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build trust quickly and deliver value-driven demos
  • Comfortable qualifying and closing deals independently with limited oversight
  • Organized, proactive and detail-oriented — you don’t let warm leads go cold!
  • Highly collaborative with a team-first mindset

Bonus Experience:

  • Experience selling API-based or embedded FinTech products
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., gaming, crypto, financial services)
  • Background in a growth-stage or startup environment

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $75 - $90K base salary (DOE)
