Position Overview:
We are hiring a Head of Marketing to build and scale a revenue-aligned marketing engine across B2B, B2B2C and emerging consumer initiatives. This role will partner closely with the Head of Revenue and CEO to refine positioning, ICPs, support vertical GTM strategy and translate commercial priorities into measurable marketing programs.
Marketing at Aeropay exists to accelerate revenue. This is not a brand-only role. This is a builder role for someone who understands performance marketing, attribution and pipeline contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner on GTM & ICP Refinement:
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue leadership to refine ICP definitions and vertical strategy
  • Translate GTM playbooks into targeted marketing programs
  • Support sales enablement and positioning across priority industries
  • Ensure marketing initiatives align with pipeline and revenue objectives
Build a Revenue-Driven Demand Engine:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive measurable pipeline growth
  • Implement disciplined attribution models across the funnel
  • Track and optimize CAC, LTV and conversion performance
  • Drive SEO, paid media and emerging AI search visibility initiatives
Strengthen Product & Vertical Marketing:
  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning by vertical
  • Create compelling messaging frameworks and competitive narratives
  • Support product launches and feature rollouts
  • Equip the Revenue team with materials that shorten sales cycles and increase win rates
Launch & Scale Early-Stage Consumer Initiatives:
  • Lead marketing strategy for future consumer applications
  • Design acquisition, activation and retention programs
  • Align consumer growth initiatives with B2B adoption strategy
  • Monitor and optimize performance marketing metrics
Lead a Best-in-Class Team:
  • Manage a lean, high-performance marketing team across content, product marketing and design
  • Contribute directly and meaningfully to the professional and personal growth of the Marketing team
  • Operate with urgency, accountability and measurable outcomes
Qualifications:
  • 7–12+ years of marketing leadership and people management experience
  • Proven experience in B2B and either B2B2C or B2C environments
  • Fluency in CAC, LTV, attribution models and funnel optimization
  • Exposure to building demand engines at growth-stage companies
  • High comfort levels in partnering closely with sales and executive leadership
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and measurable ROI
  • Ability to operate in a hands-on capacity without dependency on large teams or external agency partners
  • Ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving organizations
  • Experience in fintech, payments, open banking, gaming, lending and/or regulated industries is strongly preferred
How Success Will Be Measured:
  • Increased marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline
  • Improved funnel visibility and attribution discipline
  • Clear vertical positioning aligned with GTM strategy
  • Successful consumer app launch with defined performance metrics
  • Strong collaboration with Revenue and executive leadership
Working Location, Compensation & Benefits:
  • This role is expected to be in office at Aeropay’s Chicago HQ a minimum of three days per week prior to 4/6/26 and Monday through Thursday following 4/6/26

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $175,000 – $200,000 per year.
