Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Owner to own and drive the roadmap across multiple data products in a B2B2C environment. This role requires balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, working closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and can translate complex data requirements into clear, user-centered product experiences.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally in B2B2C data products or fintech.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to make trade-offs and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial data products, alternative assets, or trading platforms.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Product Roadmap: Own and continuously refine the product roadmap, ensuring every initiative aligns with company objectives and long-term strategic priorities.
- Backlog Ownership & Prioritization: Manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring tasks are prioritized and adjusted as requirements, dependencies, and insights evolve.
- Product Development Oversight: Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle - from discovery to design, development, QA, launch, and iteration - to ensure on-time, high-impact releases.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive collaboration across Engineering, Design, Data Science, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure smooth execution and high-quality product delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate roadmap, timelines, milestones, and releases clearly and consistently to both internal teams and external enterprise clients.
- User & Client Engagement: Work closely with internal product teams and clients to gather feedback, validate solutions, and provide ongoing updates and status reports.
- Client Integration Leadership: Lead product-related aspects of client integrations, aligning technical requirements, timelines, and expectations to ensure successful onboarding and adoption.
- Agile Ritual Participation: Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement and team alignment.
