Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA a MUST
  • 7+ years of experience in a multi-entity organization.
  • Expertise in U.S. GAAP and financial close processes
  • Experience with ERP, CRM and financial reporting systems, preferably experience implementing new accounting systems that accommodate growth.
  • Cross-functional experience operating in a complex organization.
  • Strong project management, planning and organization skills, including ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement attitude; ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices.
  • Strong analytical ability and perseverance to solve problems with high attention to detail

  • Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the general accounting function for the U.S. operations, cash management/reconciliation, Bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with our parent company on all accounting and financial matters. Assist the global CFO with the annual budgeting process and consolidation of financials.
  • Create and update internal controls providing reasonable assurance that financials are accurate.
  • Ensure that company financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and GAAP. Perform monthly/quarterly/annual account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and implement efficient financial systems to support company growth, including playing a major role in new accounting system implementation and automation.
  • Manage ERP and CRM systems for all U.S. operations.
  • Coordinate work relating to external tax reporting and audits of the company’s financial records. Assist external auditors with miscellaneous account reconciliations and documentation. Responsible for the implementation of agreed upon recommendations, resulting from the audit findings.
  • Manage the relationship with our PEO, Justworks, to ensure payroll and benefits are prepared in an accurate and timely manner. Administer 401(k) through Justworks.
  • Maintain appropriate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of accounts receivable, accounts payable, billings, and cash receipts. Manage journal entry preparation and automation, reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis. Manage online banking activity, including approving, initiating and submitting ACH payments. Administer corporate credit card process and procedures. Work closely with our client base of large multi-national financial companies to ensure proper billing and payments.
