EquityBee is seeking an FP&A Analyst to provide maternity leave coverage for a member of our Finance team. This role will lead budgeting and forecasting, track key business metrics, analyze revenue and pricing scenarios, and support financial reporting and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a creative, analytical thinker with advanced Excel skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Generate detailed annual and quarterly budgets by department
- Maintain ongoing revenue and expense forecasts
- Build ad-hoc models and scenario analyses – revenue, pricing, etc.
- Maintain a variety of reports – commission, KPI dashboard, etc.
- Drive investor and board reporting
- Partner with Equitybee’s teams to drive company-wide planning assumptions
- Lead periodical business reviews, telling a financial story to key leaders
- Own cash flow modeling for company-wide insights
Skills:
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models, with a focus on maintaining our financial models
- Planning & Forecast: Lead the annual budget process and ongoing forecast, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and deliver insights through key business metrics and reporting
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to support financial planning and modeling
- Communication: Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in an FP&A or strategic finance capacity. Experience in accounting, investment banking, or private equity/venture capital will also be considered
- Experience owning a full forecast cycle — from model development to stakeholder presentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent
- Superior attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a high-growth environment
- Professional and collaborative team player who works effectively across functions and adapts quickly to drive results
- A proven track record of accountability, honesty, and dependability
- Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Excel Copilot, Claude, or similar
- Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
