Role Overview
We are seeking a Texas-based consultant to help pilot and scale our AI-powered CTE program across K–12 school districts. This is a flexible contract role focused on district engagement, pilot implementation, and student enrollment in career-connected pathways like Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of selling educational programs into Texas school districts, ideally with exposure to CTE, EdTech, or college and career readiness. You know how to work with district leaders, move pilots forward, and adapt in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
This role is central to a growing statewide initiative with long-term potential. You’ll help lay the groundwork—but the work doesn’t stop with initial pilots.
Key Responsibilities
District Outreach & Engagement
- Identify and engage target districts and regional influencers
- Drive outreach, pitch meetings, and relationship management with district stakeholders
Pilot Facilitation & Implementation Planning
- Lead efforts to finalize MOUs and pilot agreements
- Collaborate with schools to define implementation plans across various delivery models (in-school, after-school, summer bridge, etc.)
- Support training and preparation of school-based facilitators and counselors
Launch Support & Student Enrollment
- Provide hands-on support (virtual or on-site) for program rollout
- Help schools recruit students into CTE pathways and support student engagement efforts
- Monitor progress, resolve barriers, and ensure successful execution on the ground
Qualifications
- Proven experience in K–12 district partnerships, program sales, or implementation leadership in Texas
- Familiarity with CTE, EdTech, or workforce development programs
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills
- Ability to operate independently in a high-growth, startup-like environment
- Deep understanding of the Texas education landscape, including district operations and accountability drivers
Desired Outcomes
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role structured around phases and clear milestones. The consultant will be expected to:
- Launching five district pilots
- Coordinate closely with Masterschool to align deliverables to each phase of the engagement
- Deliver outcomes tied to a $50,000 performance-based contract (~per 5 districts)
- Build the foundation for broader program expansion across Texas in 2026 and beyond
