The Role:

We are looking for a world-class Technical Compliance Business Enablement lead for a newly created role in Sunbit’s Technical Compliance team. This is an opportunity for a collaborative, regulatory compliance-centric, and data-driven individual to support Sunbit’s legal and compliance teams by leading projects and working across the organization to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient processes and procedures. We are a small, nimble team focused on ensuring Sunbit is ready for future regulatory needs. We are looking for an individual at the intersection of regulatory business acumen and technology.

If you have experience in financial services, with an understanding of regulatory compliance and the ability to improve processes with agentic solutions, we are looking for you.

What you'll Own:

• Understand, measure, and develop strategies to optimize our legal and compliance business processes to achieve team and company goals
• Conduct business and data analysis to evaluate performance, determine and prioritize opportunities, and drive successful execution
• Improve operating processes by creating, optimizing, and automating workflows, identifying and troubleshooting issues
• Translate identified process improvement and automation opportunities into clear, actionable technical specifications, and in cases implement agentic solutions.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, analytics, compliance, and legal teams to determine requirements and priorities
• Engage with business users to improve compliance procedures and resolve problems
• Coordinate and manage projects for successful delivery, on time

Requirements

What you'll bring:

• 3+ years related professional experience in financial services, experience in a fast-growing fintech startup a plus!
• Proven ability to technically optimize business processes
• Agentic process implementation, or testing a plus
• Expertise in analyzing complex business workflows to pinpoint technical inefficiencies and develop solutions for re-engineering.
• Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements of corporations
• Exceptional skills in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, including the ability to articulate complex process flows and their technical underpinnings.
• Demonstrated history of reducing operational friction by identifying, designing, and implementing technology-based solutions to automate key steps within business workflows.
• Intelligent, go-getter, ambitious, self-motivated, and hungry for success
• Strong collaboration, influencing, and leadership skills
• Organized and able to manage ambiguity and complexity
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Solid analytical skills and a preference for data when making decisions
• Ability to work independently and at multiple levels of management
• Ability to effectively write requirements
• Bachelor's Level degree

How We Pay:

• We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership.
• We are targeting a salary of $110,000 - $130,000 per year for this role
• This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
