About the Role:
Sunbit is looking for a talented AI/ML Engineer to join our R&D division and help develop and implement data-driven and AI-powered solutions that support our collections, payments, and call center operations. You’ll work on a variety of projects - from building and improving machine learning models to designing prompts and agents that enhance agent productivity and customer experience.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with senior AI/ML engineers, BE engineers, and product teams to turn business challenges into deployable, measurable solutions. This is a hands-on position for someone passionate about combining analytical thinking, experimentation, and AI technologies to drive real business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve ML models that support business operations such as collections, payments, and servicing.
- Contribute to the design and fine-tuning of AI agents and prompts that assist call center agents and improve customer interactions.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate models and AI tools into production environments.
- Experiment with LLMs and prompt engineering to improve automation and decision support systems.
- Evaluate model performance, track key metrics, and suggest improvements for accuracy and robustness.
- Stay current with new developments in AI/ML and LLM-based technologies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- B.Sc or preferably M.Sc in quantitative discipline (preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related field with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis).
- 1+ years of experience in developing and deploying ML models in a production environment, or demonstrated exceptional talent with a relevant B.Sc. degree.
- Knowledge of Data Science techniques, algorithms, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and algorithmic skills. Being able to infer conclusions and creatively offer solutions based on data analysis.
- Strong ownership and independence skills. Comfortable taking ownership over the full life cycle of models and integrating versatile tasks (ML, data analysis, and Backend).
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Effective communication skills to explain complex topics in English.
