Our innovative technology automates the entire supplier payments process, helping businesses eliminate manual work, reduce errors, and achieve greater financial control. We are expanding our presence in the UK and Europe and are looking for a dedicated Solution Consultant to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Solution Consultant at Tipalti, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our AP automation solutions in the UK and European markets. You will work closely with our sales team to understand the unique needs of prospects and customers, demonstrate the value of Tipalti's offerings, and provide expert guidance on how our solutions can transform their AP processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team in the pre-sales process, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic resource to customer and prospect with technical expertise, use cases, and customer stories
  • Own and align technology solutions and product demonstrations to stakeholder business problems through engaging presentations
  • Develop an understanding of Tipalti products, services, and use cases, and demonstrate a command of the product and how feature sets translate to prospect's requirements
  • To participate in sales cycles by leading RFI, RFPs and Security questionnaires
  • To tell engaging stories that both demonstrate our product's value and bring our solution to life.
  • Being agile and thinking of your feet and a knack of steering conversations involving a variety of different stakeholders, from end-users to the C-Suite.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively position Tipalti's solutions.
  • Offer technical expertise and guidance to prospects, addressing questions and concerns related to integration, security, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience leading customer-facing discovery sessions, technical presentations, integration conversations and solution demos to stakeholders across different departments
  • Customer empathy and navigation, ability to recognize and extract customer goals while steering the path towards the fastest time to value
  • Experience building long-lasting customer relationships and working across diverse teams
  • Compelling and engaging presentations skills with the ability to adapt and out of box thinking
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance complex technical concepts with business values
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe as needed.

Even Better…

  • General familiarity with API, invoice processing, payment processing, record keeping, vendor management and the latest security and compliance standards finance and procurement departments are typically concerned about
  • Familiarity with procurement and billing/AP space
  • Experience working with or understanding of ERP applications (e.g. Netsuite, Sage Intacct and Xero)
  • Bachelor's degree in related field e.g Business, Accounting and Finance, Computer Science
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and finance operations.
