With a focus on driving excellent client service and understanding the needs of our clients, we are continually enhancing the onboarding approach. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Senior Customer Onboarding Manager to join our Customer Onboarding Team, which is integral to Tipalti. The purpose of this role is to manage and own the end-to-end client onboarding experience within Tipalti for our large, complex implementations. This will encompass the onboarding journey for new and existing customers. The role holder will be required to demonstrate excellent program management, communication, stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.

Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi and Medellin.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Manage and oversee the full client onboarding experience for large, complex, and multi-regional implementations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring a best-in-class experience.
- Develop and manage onboarding plans, timelines, and resources in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring adherence to Tipalti’s methodology.
- Define and monitor SLAs and KPIs, manage risks, escalate issues, and drive process and tool improvements.
- Lead complex system integrations (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct, API, multi-entity, PO matching, iframe).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Operations teams for successful onboarding outcomes.
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and manage change management processes to ensure smooth adoption.
- Take a consultative approach to address client needs and propose effective solutions.
- Mentor and support junior onboarding managers, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
About you
- Proven program management experience, preferably in the SaaS or Fintech industry.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management and strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Experience working in the SaaS industry with a clear understanding of client challenges, market dynamics, and service delivery.
- Understanding of P2P processes is preferred.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with Technical, Finance, and Operations teams, from C-level executives to end users.
- Ability to manage client expectations through clear communication and effective risk management.
- Experience applying a consultative approach to identify issues and create effective solutions.
- Strong alignment with Tipalti’s corporate values.
- Project management qualifications or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures.
