This role gives you the opportunity to pivot your finance experience into a client-facing implementation position, helping customers adopt Tipalti’s leading AP automation and global payments platform.

The role
As a Customer Onboarding Manager, you’ll lead customers through the full implementation of Tipalti’s cloud-based AP automation solution. Your day-to-day will involve translating your finance knowledge into practical guidance for clients, ensuring they get the best possible start with our platform.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead customer onboarding projects from kickoff to go-live, ensuring a smooth transition onto Tipalti’s AP automation and payments solution
- Use your accounting/AP expertise to help customers configure workflows that actually work for finance teams
- Become a trusted advisor, supporting customers and helping them succeed throughout implementation
- Guide customers through integrations, data setup, and key configuration decisions
- Manage timelines, tasks, and stakeholders to keep implementations on track
- Share your learnings by contributing to our internal knowledge base and collaborating with colleagues
About you
You might currently be a:
- AP Specialist / AP Analyst
- Finance Assistant / Finance Analyst
- Accountant or Bookkeeper
- ERP/AP Superuser or Process Owner
- Someone in finance operations who has dealt with vendors, auditors, or customers
...and you’re looking for a step into SaaS, fintech, consulting, or project management.
Required:
- Experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or similar
- Comfortable working with external and internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, manage timelines, and keep projects moving
- Excited by the idea of learning new technology and helping customers adopt it
- Able to thrive in a fast-moving, scaling tech environment
- A positive, proactive approach to customer service
Desired:
Previous implementation or SaaS experience is great, but not required. If you understand AP and enjoy helping people, we’ll teach you the rest.
