We’re looking for a Salesforce Administrator who enjoys turning business challenges into practical, scalable solutions. The Salesforce Administrator will join the Sales Systems team and report to the Senior Manager of Salesforce Systems & Integrations, supporting various projects and initiatives to customize and optimize Salesforce to meet Tipalti’s business needs. This role will be primarily aligned with our Operations department, which includes Onboarding, Compliance, Customer Success, Support, and other related functions, while also supporting other departments as needed. Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi and Medellin.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Platform Ownership & Strategy: Manage the end-to-end Salesforce lifecycle, including strategic planning, system design, configuration, and ongoing optimization. Ensure the platform aligns with evolving business goals and delivers measurable organizational impact.
- Administration & Declarative Development: Configure and enhance Salesforce using best practices across process automation, security and access, data architecture, and system configuration. Design, build, test, and deploy scalable declarative solutions. Maintain sandboxes and development environments to support robust testing and deployment.
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, define, and prioritize business and technical requirements. Analyze processes, identify gaps, resolve inconsistencies, and translate complex needs into clear, actionable specifications.
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing workflows and automations for scalability, performance, and maintainability. Recommend and implement improvements while proactively monitoring new Salesforce releases and features, industry trends, and emerging technologies to modernize the platform.
- Support, Enablement & Request Management: Manage request intake, prioritization, and escalation across departments. Provide timely and effective user support by troubleshooting issues, addressing root causes, and improving processes or functionality. Share best practices and guidance to help users maximize Salesforce effectiveness.
- Data Quality & Governance: Promote high-quality data through deduplication, imports, cleanup efforts, and routine audits. Maintain strong governance practices to ensure long-term data accuracy and integrity.
- Integrations & Tech Stack Management: Support and enhance integrations with external systems, identifying opportunities to improve performance and reliability. Evaluate and implement new applications and data sources aligned with business objectives.
- Change Management: Lead and support change initiatives, ensuring smooth rollouts of new features, updates, and process improvements through effective planning, communication, and training. Work closely with internal and offshore Salesforce team to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate deployments. Maintain clear documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.
About you
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
- Thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform, including standard and custom objects, data modeling, and security configurations.
- High proficiency in designing and implementing complex automations using Salesforce Flow.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in plain language for non-technical users.
- Skilled at evaluating business needs, breaking down requirements, and designing scalable solutions.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with evaluating and connecting Salesforce to other system integrations.
- Nice to have, experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, Gainsight, and other SaaS integrations.
- Supporting Salesforce org with 500+ users, working with multiple SFDC admins, manage multiple Salesforce instances is preferred.
- Salesforce Admin or other specialized certifications is a bonus.

Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $117,000 USD annually.
Bonus: Target bonus is 10% of base salary. Bonus entitlement is based on a combination of organizational results, individual performance, and relative contribution, as assessed by Tipalti in its sole discretion, to be formalized and communicated to you following your start date.

Final compensation will be determined through individual assessment of experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-relevant factors.
