Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi and Medellin.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Banking Partner Ownership & Communication
- Own all inbound and outbound communications with banking partners
- Own resolution and communication on all issues related to payment and banking activities with partners
- Act as Tipalti’s primary representative on operational banking partner calls
- Manage ongoing operational relationships, including issue resolution, escalations, and follow-ups
- Ensure clear alignment and accountability across all interactions with banking partners
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Engineering and Product Divisions on:
- Banking partner announcements and changes
- Migrations and requirements
- Incidents, issues, and escalations
- Partner with Payment Operations team on customer-facing communications related to banking partner changes or incidents
- Ensure all relevant internal teams are informed, aligned, and prepared for banking partner related changes
Operational Excellence & Efficiency
- Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in banking partner workflows
- Drive process improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, and transparency
- Proactively surface risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Integrations & Change Management
- Own and monitor banking partner integration requirements with Tipalti
- Lead and coordinate routing implementations, currency expansions, physical accounts migrations, and production testing, from planning through execution
- Manage operational readiness for new currencies, routing changes
- Ensure smooth rollout and adoption across internal teams, including risk assessment and rollback planning
Training & Enablement
- Train Payment Operations teams on new banking partner features, sandbox environments, or new operational processes
- Translate complex banking and technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance
Reporting & Stakeholder Visibility
- Prepare weekly and monthly summaries for management, including:
- Key issues and resolutions
- Operational risks
- Partner performance insights
- Progress on improvements and initiatives
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of strong experience working with global banking partners or financial institutions
- At least 3 years of proven background in payments, banking operations, or fintech environments
- Deep understanding of payment terms, banking concepts, and operational flows
- Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Product, and Operations teams
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to quickly get to the bottom line
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand complex configurations and simplify them for different audiences
- Highly organized, accountable, and comfortable owning end-to-end processes
- Can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a SaaS or fintech company operating at scale
- Familiarity with payment integrations, APIs, or banking infrastructure
- Experience managing operational escalations with external partners
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment
